MARTIN COMBE'S first full-length novel, SAFE HANDS, is out now.

Trying to organise the delivery of an unexpected parcel is as stressful as web designer Paul Winson wants his life to get but, after a distant acquaintance is murdered, he finds himself dragged out of a gunfight at his house and into a world of car chases, fake police and secret organisations.

During a hectic 48 hours he must choose who to trust as he chases down a hundred-year-old mystery, the solution to which, in the wrong hands, could threaten the fabric of the country itself.  How much is he willing to sacrifice to keep it safe?
